Uncle Ladas’ Third Wife’s Ring
– Honours Project 2020

Uncle Ladas’ Third Wife’s ring is a publication exploring intergenerational connection and its role in creating family legacy through the documentation of my Great Great Half Uncle’s life. The intention is to highlight the value in archiving the ‘ordinary’ among us which can be achieved through storytelling and shared experience. The publication is designed to stand the test of time, protected from light and dust within a clamshell box.

Fingerblind Design Conference
– University Project 2019

‘Fingerblind’ is a design conference which focuses on the importance of tactility in the design process. For my rhetoric approach I created physical letters, hand cut and rough around the edges, to demonstrate tactile design. This process forced me to get out of my comfort zone and try new design techniques. Getting tactile with design can often speed up the design process and make you realise the final design solution sooner.

Harcourts Client First
– Freelance Work 2019

I worked with Harcourts Client First helping them to create a range of promotional material including flyers, business cards and marketing packages. It was important to work within the Harcourts brand guidelines while still creating eyecatching material.

The Concern: A News Website
– University Project 2019

‘The Concern’ aims to create a tailored news reading experience by focusing on what is of concern to the reader. I designed this website with 6 different user personas in mind which allowed me to gain insight into the importance of user experience/journey. I also gained a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
